Thank you for opening the door!

The awesome Chernobyl Aid Ireland group, headed by the tireless Liam Grant, collects donated goods for Belarus and delivers twice a year.

But how do they get into the country?...

That’s the genius of “The Great Kozovaya” and our “Response of the Heart” team in Minsk.

They work through extremely complicated regulations to make everything happen, and happen legally.

Supporters of New Thing have the joy of providing 100% of the funding for Response of the Heart — so groups like Liam’s can reach out to people in need in Belarus.

Last week’s 14-ton delivery featured strollers, kitchen cutlery, bed linens, sinks and toilets, construction materials, wheelbarrows and shovels, 4,600+ lbs. of clothing, playground equipment (swings, a slide, even a merry-go-round!), and much more.

This aid will go toward care for orphans and other children with mild retardation in boarding schools in Grozovo, Kopyl, and Kalinovka.
