A report from Doug Brendel to all who support or follow New Thing in Belarus...

They needed help, and BOOM!

Love was already there!

Even before the problem, your compassion offered the solution.

A boarding school in Grozovo, Belarus, home to people with mental disabilities, urgently needed household supplies.

Friends of New Thing, giving generously to our emergency “Great Kozovaya Fund,” enabled us to answer the call immediately.

You were so generous, we were able to go even further, providing for vitally important outdoor exercise-therapy equipment for the residents.

A couple weeks ago, the equipment was installed! (Plus, a bonus basketball hoop!)

A plaque went up to commemorate the vision of The Great Kozovaya and all who support our “Response of the Heart” team.

Kozovaya loved this place and these people, and arranged for their support for many years.

Now the staff caring for the residents will be able to help them even more effectively through outdoor activities.

Meanwhile, the extensive indoor program of educational activities continues!

Some of these folks are budding artists!

The sign says Спасибо — transliterated Spasibo....

The staff and residents at Grozovo are saying Thank you!

And I’m saying it too ... to everyone who gives so generously to New Thing!
