New Thing is your love in action, inside the former Soviet Union

Curious about where NewThing.net came from?

A report from Doug Brendel to all who support or follow New Thing in Belarus...

From the children with disabilities...

Thanks for the “Boring Stuff”!

We’ve loved the children at Osipovichi, with physical and mental disabilities, for a long time.

Friends of New Thing, giving generously, are helping to renovate their ancient facility, bit by bit.

Most recently, you provided medical equipment, sanitary and hygiene products, building materials and tools, and new parts for the plumbing system.

Not very “sexy,” but crucial to the care of the children.

Director Larisa (at right) and her dedicated staff send their love and thanks!

Thanks for journeying with New Thing.

More adventures to come!

Much love,

Doug Brendel

P.S.: Here’s an update on our campaign to cover the cost of “Life Starter Kits” (bedding, kitchenware, laptop, and more) for orphans graduating from the Children’s Village at Kobryn:

We’re thankful for 15 households and groups who’ve given a total of $3,526.35 toward the $14,000 goal.

If you can help cover the cost of a Life Starter Kit, or a portion of a Kit, we’ll welcome your support.

The orphan-graduates are so grateful!
