We just received a few more Christmas and New Year’s photos — and a pretty cool 1-minute video — from the Children’s Village in Kobryn, Belarus.

Thought you’d enjoy this....

It’s one of the greatest imaginable thrills for the children there.

We provided fireworks last year, and this year the neighbors asked eagerly if there would be fireworks again.

Everyone in the neighborhood, children and adults alike, went out into the street to watch!

Inside, lots of fun, games, songs, dances, activities....

Kids in Belarus like to talk to Father Christmas just like kids in the U.S. like to talk to Santa.

Everyone is thrilled with the new artificial Christmas tree.

It was breaking their hearts to cut down a tree from the woods on the property every year, but they could never afford an artificial tree.

Thank you, friends of New Thing!

Lots of presents and goodies, but for a Belarusian child, it’s hard to beat an orange for sheer joy.

God bless all who give to keep our “Response of the Heart” at work all across Belarus.

And a special word of gratitude for the tree, the lights, the gifts, the goodies, and the fireworks!
